DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
These straps are meticulously designed and 100% handcrafted, one at a time, by artist/guitarist Micah Atwell. Each strap is constructed from heavy-duty cowhide leather, lined with soft velvet pig suede for comfort and grip, and painstakingly hand-stitched with heavy, durable nylon thread.
Each design is unique, never made from a template or mass-produced! Colored dyes, when used, are the most colorfast and quality non-industrial dyes available and sealed with an acrylic topcoat for a water-resistant finish. Black dye is made and aged right here from more natural ingredients and does not require any sealer. For the final touch, all edges are rolled, slicked and burnished.
ADJUSTABILITY & WEAR
Whether you like your guitar up close and personal or down on the floor, you'll find FP straps offer a wide adjustment range (approx. 38-54 inches). The simple belt-buckle-style adjuster was carefully designed to reduce the risk of the buckle coming into contact with your guitar by putting the main strap body between the two (your belt buckle or jewelry is more likely to scratch your guitar). The adjuster is glued and triple-riveted to the strap body for ultimate strength and durability.
FP straps keep your guitar where you want it (no sliding around) and distribute the weight evenly over the shoulder. This means better gigs and more productive sessions, even with the heaviest guitars. And despite their hefty look and feel, FP straps are still lightweight.
A TRUE WORK OF ART
Finally, each strap is given its own unique serial number, stamped into the strap along with the year it was made. It then receives a final cleaning and careful packaging. For your purchase, you'll also receive a hand-written and personalized receipt listing all the details about your strap.
